Do not be afraid

advice to all people out there, do not be afraid, fear is what limit our life, don't dear to move on, don't fear to change, don't fear of being honest.

life is short, use it well, and don't waste it by being afraid.

look at a child when he is learning how to walk, if he is afraid of falling he could have never walked, this is why god created children fearless, so they won't be afraid to learn.

Project Magnus ( The Purifier )

Magnus is one of my original characters, he is a part of my own story that I have been developing for a long long time, the story is still under development and so as the characters, but as for Magnus his design is almost frozen and finished, and since I am working on Zbrush recently I decided to do this project.

Magnus structure is flesh and mechanics so he will be perfect for practicing anatomy, organic sculpting and mechanical sculpting in Zbrush, I will finalize the design in the coming weekend and start working on him in Zbrush, and lets see if I can achieve a high quality model with Zbrush.

More progress

Zbrush is one of the most comfortable software that i use ever used, I mean maya u spend hours and hours modeling and fixing problems in the mesh and at least spend a week to finish, Zbrush, one day! finished! detailed! done! voala!

i learned how to use Zspheres today, it was so fun, and got my 1st base mesh that i will use from now one, i took a rest from Zbrush today and sketch for a while.

Today was another productive day, finished big work in my internship and now will shift to a bigger one! XD

in the other hand Zbrush today was too awesome! discovered a new method of making a base mesh out of scratch! not Zsphears and not Zsketch! XD something new i came out with and it damn worked! XD

Hi guys!

sorry that i just puff! disappeared again! O_O my damn facebook is taking all my time, anyway few days ago i decided that i will put 2 hours a day for Zbrush, and plus am working on my internship, project, dissertation, and! portfolio! and i need to incress my skill level and planned to get a zbrush license after graduation SO!  am practicing Zbrush! its too AWEEEEESOOOOOOOOOME!

update about my situation, i will copy and paste it from my Deviantart journal  :P   too lazy to retype! O_O

stress is killing my class mates, it is just the beginning of the year and they are stress like hell that they cant sleep!.

this year is the final year : project, dissertation, portfolio and internship, they are freaking out already cause not much progress in the work and its been already 2 months and a half!

thank god am moving well with it, things are in motion and not wasting time and trying not to fall into stress so help me god.

i met few new people online and in real life.

the one who i met online is a seriously awesome girl and i hope things will go fine between me and her, cause i like her a LOT! will try to visit her next month god willing.

and since i started doing most of my work in CCD (coffee cafe day) and I broke the habit that i had from being afraid of interacting with people!, i met a sweet girl! she is a korean piano teacher and her name is jade, she can be a really nice friend .

the new rules of my life are:

1- never to be afraid
2- if u dont have the balls so what! still go for it and see what will happen
3- stay positive at all time
4- if some one is causing trouble, freakin get rid of em! dont waste time, effort and mental health trying to help them! cause it seem that they dont want help
5 - and the most important and it also includes rules 1 and 2, that is get involved! people ask u to go some where say sure, u like it stay, u dont leave, dont say no i dont want to go!, be a YES MAN! XD i know! Jim Cerry! he is awesome!

starting tmrw, i will give 2 hours of my day to Zbrush since i am a character artist, i design characters and it would be awesome if i sculpt them!

since am weak in Zspheres to create a base mesh, i decided a collection of base meshes with Maya before i finish college so i can use it in the farther future, since i cant afford maya license so am getting a zbrush! and those bases meshes will help a lot!

and am suffering recently from my wisdom teeth, they really suck! more dentist time! she cleaned my teeth and it looks awesome now! for her! but i still have to work on some old fillings!


power problems in my apartment that i cant run my desktop for 5 mins without restarting on me, even when i use a UPS and a voltage regulator still fucks it up, so no more desktop! T_T


i was trying to get my hand on the art of darksiders book, my money got stolen from the internet, my brother got me the book and mailed it 3 times and it gets back to him! O_O and now i just found www.flipkart.com they are too awesome, u pay at delivery (it's only for India)

so wasted a lot of cash and i hope i will receive the book now on this coming Friday.

people from the past coming back just to disturb me recently with their stupidity and this is why i created rule number 4 ( check the rules set above)

now am back to chennai, it's been a month, my story for the project had been accepted, I just need to do the presentation and off to pre-prod .

new sketches, old sketches, and gestures drawings

hi guys, these are some of my old and new sketches, and my gesture drawings which I really love and enjoy, am doing fine..........tired but still fine.........I really need winter, it's been 2 years since I have seen winter.

My art skills is increasing, am sure of that now, and we are having animation classes now and I am really enjoying it, I will post the ball with tail animation video as soon as I finish it.

my old sketchs, it has been done last year.

from my sketch book, shanger is a character represent my anger and my passion and aggressive style, the last sketch is not harry potter!, the yellow and vio color is a character named the golden angel, and for some reason today I wanted to do skateboarding sketches

 

since I didn't have a model I used www.posemaniacs.com, and Rieq recommended that I try 60 seconds gestures, to increase my observations skills, and it really worked :) thanks Rieq!

I am really sorry that I didn't update my blog in a long time, it's just that I have been out of mood and broken down by many elements, but now am back.

I can say that my skills are advancing and am getting really beautiful critiques on my work and it makes me want to draw even more.

I have done some animations basic also, it got few mistakes that will be fixed later but am happy about it.

As we Arabs have things that we are proud of and very famous iconic animals, these animals are the horse and the falcon, one symbol of Iraq was the falcon, a friend suggested that I should draw something connected to Iraq after the war, the this expressive concept came into my mind at the spot so I drew it at the moment.

and let us not forget the new gesture drawings.

Aweful weekend but Skill update

Hi Guys!

I am back, sorry I didn't post anything, I was just not in the mood to do anything for 4 days in a raw and it was aweeeeeeeeeeeeful! some times I get these Art Block but it is always productive, for some reason I just become better when I have these Art Blocks, It's like my brain install a new Update and synchronize :P than I come back more Kick ASS!.

At the 17th I woke up in the morning and walked to college as always, as I was listening to bleach sound tracks with my MP3 and BOOM! 2 Ideas popes into my head! one is (BD) BigDog the Graffiti hero, and the other one is some kind of a ninja! so the soon as I reached college I just took my sketch book and starting Sketching them! and these are the sketches 

Today is the 19th, and it was an OK day nothing bad in it, I went to a small restaurant and had a veg cheese Burger, I KNOW!!! VEG??? but what can I say, it was a nice play to set and sketch, so I took one of the tables and ordered my dinner, than while I was waiting I sketched BD with colors and it was fun!
