Zbrush practice

I have been playing around Zbrush Materials trying to get the cellshading effect but it is still not giving any satisfying results  check out my lunch crunches section I did a paint over for the one that is dated under 29-July-2013, it came out okay but still meh, i want more any suggestions?

Portrait practice

fighting my biggest weakness in my skill set, portrait drawing.... specially females! Finished drawing this Portrait of Chun Lee! T____T ouh God I love her! :D she is awesome sexy and dangerous! and i even loved her more when Jackie Chan played her role in city hunter! LOL! anway, I used Mypaint to draw this portrait, I hope you guys like it.

After Math : character design

Just a character I wanted to get out of my head a month ago, i was thinking what if WW3 and the world manufacture ended cause of most of the economy has fallen and countries were destroyed but people still need to defend them self, some can not get their hands on proper equipment so they used what ever they get in their hands.

When you are on the go jumping from place to another, hospital, official office for paper work and other stuff you won't have time to do anything! specially when your work is at home! so no break what so ever! to sketch!

but! if you have Galaxy note s3 om your side? it is a blessing, drawing in the subway, waiting at the office, in the hospital, in the toilet! where ever you go! your draw!!!!! :D here are few stuff that I did using my lovely on the go studio! :D

and this week, me and my wife were at a cafe called Mary Grace at SM Trinorma Mall in the Manila City and MY! GOD! that pie was so awesome that it brought tears to my eyes! better than any other pie I have ever had in my life ( Besides mom's of course ) I didn't care how full I was I ordered another one and ate it there and had sugar sick! lol! even my wife was laughing at me and telling me my face looks like a baby tasting something good for the 1st time! and she kept looking at me and giggling the whole time :D, if you are in Manila! you should go and have this awesome piece of pie! it will make not just your day but your whole week!

AutoDesk Sketch Book Pro

Autodesk Sketchbook Pro Android for Galaxy note!

yes! FOR galaxy note! there is a different version of Sketchbook Pro for Galaxy Note and Tab, the ones that Support Spen, 1st will start off with why this baby is sooooo damn good!

1- a nice pop up menu when you press the small circle at the bottom of the screen, it gives you save, share, transform tool, symmetry tool, line style, brush options and layers on the top bar.

the brush opacity and size can be controlled by the brush properties in the middle of the screen where you simply press and hold in the middle and if you go left or right it control the brush size, up and down controls the opacity.

you have the fit screen option on the top right and clean layer on the top left, undo and redo on the bottom sides of the screen.






2- cool brush varieties and customization engine that it has, it gives you a good wide choice of brushes that you can use for sketching, rendering and bringing out a high quality work for your Note or Tab lets say technically you will have a Wacom Centiqu in your Pocket or Backpack without the need of a laptop! a digital Sketchbook you can take with you on the go!

as for the color wheel we have the basic color wheel where we see in every illustration software and the HSB controls, color picker but! if you click on the circle of colors on the top left of the screen it will shift you to hue and saturation mode of colors, a simple color table which is very useful! and if you click it again! the eye candy comes!

here is the eye candy! a set of copic markers! you have totally what you need in your pocket on the go enjoying your artistic expression with those babies! yeah! and if you click on the color you will notice information will pop up at the button window and it will tell you the name of the color with its number and also the complementary of it! Copic and Autodesk does it again!

3- in the preferences you have Pen Mode showing up after you use the pen on the screen, this mode will allow you to draw only using the pen! your hand will control the menu normally but drawing will only happen using the pen! cool ha! no more jumping lines! ( this is the option i talked about that comes only for Galaxy Note and Tab! it is designed for it! for an artist! how cool is that!











4- the last I will say that the layer option is cool where you have few blending options that you can have for your daily use! and it export as Tiff ( Sketchbook pro ) PSD ( Photoshop ) JPEG and PNG

Sketch book pro on Galaxy note 2

I started Using Galaxy note 2 with Spen ( which comes with it of course ) this piece of tool is just too epic to a digital artist, and it can turn into the ultimate tool in the hands of autodesk sketch book users who uses the PC ver of it as well, what you need to do is to download dropsync software on you Note2 and sync your autodesk sketchbook pro file with your PC so every time you save a file on your phone it will update to your pc and every time you save on the pc it updates to you phone, and you can also hack the resolution size limitation by increasing the file size using Sketchbook pro on PC. it is simply epic! and if you have galaxy tab 10.1 you can use that as well, I have never used cintiqu wacom before but for now this Galaxy note is more than enough for me and if i want to get a tablet i will get the samsung one for sure!

No matter where you are you can be productive

in the past week I have been running around and staying at places that I should not be in and I was under a hell lot of stress but being productive can never stop so here is something I made using my phone

Facebook has been deactivated

My facebook account and page has been all deactivated and I feel much lighter! wow! no more statues updates, no more notification or inboxes! waaaaaay better, more art to come and Blogger is my home now! :D

Facebook is done for me, all those stupid copy rights thing and them owning your photos specially since I am an artist and I post my art work plus few personal issues, I shut down my facebook account and pages completely, I will be on blogger for good and it is for the best.
