Aweful weekend but Skill update

Hi Guys!

I am back, sorry I didn't post anything, I was just not in the mood to do anything for 4 days in a raw and it was aweeeeeeeeeeeeful! some times I get these Art Block but it is always productive, for some reason I just become better when I have these Art Blocks, It's like my brain install a new Update and synchronize :P than I come back more Kick ASS!.

At the 17th I woke up in the morning and walked to college as always, as I was listening to bleach sound tracks with my MP3 and BOOM! 2 Ideas popes into my head! one is (BD) BigDog the Graffiti hero, and the other one is some kind of a ninja! so the soon as I reached college I just took my sketch book and starting Sketching them! and these are the sketches 

Today is the 19th, and it was an OK day nothing bad in it, I went to a small restaurant and had a veg cheese Burger, I KNOW!!! VEG??? but what can I say, it was a nice play to set and sketch, so I took one of the tables and ordered my dinner, than while I was waiting I sketched BD with colors and it was fun!

There is a person entered my life in 25th of Nov 2010, we really started off good and we liked each other I guess, I know I liked her a lot, she really turned on the lights in my life, I was better, happier and she also picked me out of a hole that I never thought I will be able to get out from, she is really special, she understood me and knew what I was thinking and understood what my goal meant to me, but all of a sudden something happened and made what was between us spin around like a spinning top, and now we are not like before, I really miss her..............but am waiting for her.

I will be waiting for you. :-<

sketch and cook!

Today didn't do much but last night I was awake until 6AM working on my college 3D unwrapping with Autodesk Maya.

I woke up and went out for some shopping for my frig :D, I had my lunch and sketched a guy near my place, one of the auto stand workers, he is sooooooooo thin that you can see he skull, and has a funny hair and he drives an auto so I sketched him

Today I cooked my dinner, it is steam chicken, very simple.

Put a little oil in the pan, fry some garlic and than put the chicken and fry it a little with them than add some sliced tomatoes and paprika with them add salt and black pepper with some lemon and put a little water, cover the pan and let it cook on a very steady low fire. and you will get this!

cooking is the best meditation :), drawing the cooking is my zen :)

nothing new

Today I went to college and Citicenter with friends as usual, than after that i got back home had a shower and slept, woke up! went to get some and while I was waiting, of course my dear sketchbook with me, for some reason wanted to sketch Crysis, so I did! and here it is! :D I hope you like it! have a nice evening.

Two Sketchs for today

Today I didn't attend my classes because I woke up dizzy this morning so I decided to get back to sleep, than after Midday I woke up and I text-ed my junior and told him if he can go to City Center and luckily he was already their, so I washed my face, brushed my teeth and put some clothes on, plugged in the MP3and rocked on to City Center.

My friend and 3 other juniors were there, sat down talked about classes and he showed me his work and he was really progressing.

One of them is a musician, he recorded a song with his laptops mic and they made me listen to it, everything was fine but the singer's voice was so far that sounded really weird and it gave me an idea! so I sketched it at the moment in my sketch book! 

 

After some time we all left then I waked back home and went through the day but still wanted to sketch something so I ended up sketching this, I took my own expression as a reference :)

plus my passion that I ignored over the years, I Zaid MJ, Iraqi!, decided to be an animator and a concept artist.

This art work at the top is my progress over 3 years, I started from scratch, I just used to draw at the back of my classbooks but after I took this decision I started taking art seriously, many people discourage me and told me I was crazy and I wont be able to do it, well here I am doing it and kicking ass! :D

I am 23 years old now and in April I will be 24, my mission is to start my own freelancing concept art company at the age of 30, 3 months and 6 years to go.
